A trapped bee
In this image, there is a bee which is trapped by the flower's honey. I have used the balance color and level tools in Photoshop to change the color of the flower into red color. The reason I used the red color to dominate this image that I want to express the red color which will create the dead and killing feeling for the viewers. How do you feel a bout this image?
Here is the original image which I have taken in front of the Lady Church. Actually, in this image, a bee is working to obtain his food-honey.

What is it that you are trying to emphasize in this picture? I experience no sense of death or killing. That is a quite a narrow view of such a rich color.
What I am attracted to is the interesting shape and negative space that has appeared. The petals have loss all detail except its shape. The bee no longer looks like a bee but an ovalish shape.
Instead there is a sense of delicate energy and life.
