A lacquer painting of the Lady Church

This is actually an image that I have taken of Lady Church. I have used the Photoshop to make it look like a lacquer painting. First, I increased the shadow of the image to 100% and decreased the highlight to 0%. Then, I have chosen the Filter-->Stylize-->Find Egdes. Next, choosing Edit->Fade Find Edges. Then I change the opacity and set the mode as Luminosity. Finally, I created the image of Lady Church look like a lacquer painting

The reflecting water

In this image, I have created the reflecting water which include the shadow of the statue of the two Goddess. Then, I used the Image Ready to make the animation of the water surface wavering. The wavy text

First, I have used the Photoshop to create the text. Then, I edited it in the Image Ready to create the wavy text. Please click on the image to see the wavy text

A rainy night

I have used this image as a background for my book cover assignment. In this image, I have tried to create the dark pink color which dominates the image. In my opinion, It will create the gloomy feeling of a rainy night for the viewers.

Nymphet in the garden

First, I have used the Poster edges filter to blur the image. Then, I have changed the threshold of the image. It creates the feeling that I'm looking at the painting, not just an image.

Flowers bloom at night

This image is taken with the dark background. Futhermore, it is taken with the low brightness. In my opinion, this will create the feeling that the flowers are blooming at night. It is unusual thing because almost flowers are usually blooming at morning or at noon.








Here is a different image with the same flower which I have taken on the street on the way to the Tan Son Nhat airport. I took this image with different parameter (eg: shutter speed, aperture and angle). How do you feel about this image and the image above?

A trapped bee

In this image, there is a bee which is trapped by the flower's honey. I have used the balance color and level tools in Photoshop to change the color of the flower into red color. The reason I used the red color to dominate this image that I want to express the red color which will create the dead and killing feeling for the viewers. How do you feel a bout this image?
